An evening of haggis, whisky and reeling at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, raising funds to beat Motor Neurone Disease.
The cause
Founded by the late Scotland and British & Irish Lions legend Doddie Weir OBE, the Foundation exists to find effective treatments for Motor Neurone Disease, and to make a real difference, today, to those living with it. MND affects thousands of people across the UK, and research funding remains desperately scarce.
Every ticket sold, every auction bid and every voluntary donation made at the Ball goes towards that mission: bold research into a cure, and grants that bring dignity and relief to families living with MND right now.
